Sound work is a tool that Laurie employs, when appropriate, throughout all the facets of her practice. With individuals in spiritual psychotherapy and hypnotherapy, Laurie uses various instruments to aid her clients to enter into a relaxed state where the mind can turn inwards and recognise pre-conditioned behaviour (neuronets).

She also finds sound to be a powerful component in group therapy. There are many effective group rituals using sound and easy to play instruments that have profound healing effects on our entire being.

Laurie has a range of wonderful instruments to engage with - from the buffalo and ocean drum to the crystal bowl and simple shakers. All of these sounds produce their own unique healing effect on the various chakras (energy centers) of the body.
